DIY piercing?

I was reading the later issue of Cosmopolitan the other day, and I can't even lie when I say their fashion spreads were ON POINT! Let's face it we go to Vogue for fashion and Cosmo for sex... But now I see the tables may be turning. One particular pictorial that I fell in love with is now a DIY project that I'm going to attempt. Faux piercings! Using beads and adhesive, GENIUS! I'm going to give it a go before I hit firefly festival next weekend!! Stay tuned xx

Northport

I woke up this morning with an overwhelming urge to be outside, and to eat fruit tart. There is this beautiful little town on Long Island that goes by the name of Northport; by beautiful I mean picturesque, quaint, friendly and just straight up precious.
I drove in to the harbor-side parking and walked over to the Copenhagen Bakery where low and be hold, my fruit tart was waiting for me! So in the corner of this cute little bakeshop, I enjoyed this little strawberry and kiwi treat whilst basking in the litter red-trimmed, sun drenched window.
Afterwards, I walked over to the harbor and found a perfect bench to sit on. I say it's perfect because its beneath massive tree and it gives me a pleasant view of all the sailboats bobbing on the water. As I'm on this awesome bench reading a book, all I can think about is how relieved I am that I wore this white h&m sundress (that's providing the perfect amount of cool), and how delicious that fruit tart was!

Ahoy!

I'd like to take a minute out of my day to express my appreciation for nautical stripes. An essential pattern for summer, I'll most likely find a way to wear stripes everyday... MARK MY WORDS!

Happy Spring!

I can't apologize enough for the lack of content on my blog. When your a college grad living on their own for the first year, life gets a bit hectic oui? But alas, it is a new year and a new season WHICH MEANS... Newer trends and tricks are popping up! It's time to start digging!!

If it's not Baroque

Over the top then and over the top now, the gilded Baroque fancy is everywhere. Adding a Baroque style piece to any ensemble will surely vamp it up.

Happy Fall. Fall means nostalagia, and for me nostalgia means looking back at my favorite childhood fancies. The Video Below is the song CHOLLA by The Joy Formidable. Although this song might not be from 1993, the video pays a subtle but damn good hommage to the nonsensical grunge-esque productions of bands like The Cranberries, and Alice in Chains. See what I mean?

DIY Ombre Nails: MINT EDITION!

I have two obsessions you should know about...
1. I am in love with everything Mint (the color)
2. I am addicted to painting my nails! I have a new design or color every two or three days.

I decided fused my two passions and did my ombre manicure! I used ESSIE nail polish in Turquoise and Caicos and Sinful Colors in Mint Apple.

My creation
Buy the Flower Braid Halo  HERE

One of my favorite stores, Free People, has this fabulous piece that I am currently obsessed with. Its a head band, or crown if you will, embellished with flowers. I adore it for spring, however I have no feasible way of owning the gorgeous accessory, so I decided to be productive this weekend and created one myself.

I will have more information on my own floral headband coming soon!! You can check out the Free People Flower Braid Halo at FreePeople.com
